  We stopped by when we saw it along the road, it was supposed to be open but a staff member told us it was closed. Therefore a few days later we went back there during their opening hours but we were told again that they had closed early. Quite disappointing.

  Next we went up to the function house where we tried a number of their wines (1x white, 1x rosé, 2x reds of different ages and from different aged vines). Lovely. Maria then served us a light lunch of delicious local meats and cheese. We finished with a tasting of their sweet wine, Airam. Absolutely delicious, so much so we ended up buying some to take home.

  This winery was fabulous. Maria gave us a tour of the winery that was a lovely mixture of family history and information about their wine making philosophy. Maria is an orator and we were hanging of her every word.
